Aer obtaining a court order to foreclose, the lender must publish a Notice of Sale.
The notice must state the time, place, terms and purpose of the sale, and it must be published for four 4 consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in the county wherein said lands, or a portion thereof, are situated. The sale must take place at the courthouse door of the county where the property is situated and sold to the highest bidder for cash. Aer the sale, the borrower has the right of redemption for 12 months and the lender has the right to file for a defi ciency judgment.
